Jennifer (Jennie) Grau, President, Grau Interpersonal Communication


For more than twenty years Jennifer (Jennie) Grau, trainer, coach, facilitator, and presenter has changed the way people work by changing the way they speak, listen, and resolve conflict together. Her creative and interactive programs develop leaders, strengthen teams, build capacity, and drive innovation. Jennie is President of Grau Interpersonal Communication whose clients include Fortune 500 corporations, non-profit organizations, educational institutions, family businesses, and government entities. Her work has been noted in the Wall Street Journal, US News & World Reports, and the Lansing State Journal.  In 2011, Jennie received the International Listening Association’s Listening in the Business Sector Award, in 2014 co-organized the first European Listening and Healthcare Conference in Nijmegen, The Netherlands, in 2018 organized the International Listening Association’s 39th Annual Convention in Dublin, Ireland, and in 2016 was inducted into the Listening Hall of Fame. Jennie earned a B.A. in Interpersonal Communication from Oberlin College and an M.A. in Organizational Communication from Michigan State University. Jennie is also a Certified Listening Professional (CLP) and an ECHOTM Listening Certified Practitioner.
